Used for tablet to determine the durability from the time of production to the time of use. A transparent plastic drum rotating has plastic blade which carries the tablets to a predetermined height and lets them off. The rotation period is determined by a timer. Tablets are weighed before and after the test and difference in wight for a particular time period indicates the rate of abraision.
