Completely made of plastic. Electrically operated device for timing the motion of objects in mechanics experiments for measurement of speed and acceleration by means of timing marks on paper tape that moves underneath carbon paper disc in the guides. Any tapping on top carbon paper disc translates to dots on the paper tape. Two different timing frequencies are selectable from a sliding switch at the top. Adjustment is provided in the carbon disc holder so as to vary the position of disc where the piston strikes. A universal bosshead clamp provided on one side makes it usable in both horizontal as well as vertical directions. With instruction manual.
